The Chu & Gassman staff, 40+ design and construction professionals, technical workers, and administrative support personnel, have a proven performance record. We control and measure our quality by adhering to the following guidelines:

All projects are supervised by one of the firm's principals.
Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) is used on all projects.
Standard computer-based specifications are utilized where appropriate.

A great number of our clients have been serviced continuously for over ten years, providing a ready demonstration of our accountability and reliability.

Computerized up-to-date unit prices for mechanical and electrical work items and equipment are maintained in-house utilizing a nationally recognized costing database.

All project design and construction costs are regularly evaluated in order to permit projects to be delivered within their design fee budget. In this manner project budget costs can be analyzed and, when required, remedial or design modification can be taken.

Integral to all projects is the requirement that the design reflect a minimum of impact on both current operating systems and personnel. All designs are evaluated based upon their ability to maintain owner's operations. For transportation projects, particular care is taken to minimize any inconvenience to the general public during construction.

Prior to the completion of any design, construction schedules are prepared which detail the amount of time required to complete various elements of the project.

After award of contract, field personnel continually monitor construction progress and evaluate the impact of any delays in material delivery or construction activity duration.

Every project design, as a minimum, is in conformance with nationally recognized safety codes, including:

  National Electric Code
  National Fire Protection Code
  Underwriters Laboratory
  Building Officials and Codes Administrators

Chu & Gassman personnel are instructed to address any unsafe or dangerous condition in the most immediate and forceful manner at their disposal. Staff members regularly attend safety seminars, which explains the latest safety equipment and techniques.
